29TH MAY


Dear Sayang, 

              Firstly, I want to thank you for being with me even you know how annoying I can be, I know I irritate you a lot and I love to fight with you because I love you so much. Deep down my heart you are the one that I love the most no matter what. I always try to show you my love towards you no matter what. And not only that we have been through many difficulties moments together and I know we will go through it till our future undertakings. I am also really blessed with someone like you and will always do. Happy 3 Years Anniversary Sayang. Will always love you <3

If you didn't make it to the samelan camp I will never get to meet a wonderful person like you. My Nine Reflection

Hello everyone !


       Sadly to say, this will be the last blog and reflection for all us in Pedagogy Class. I actually have learn a lot until today mostly from Madam Ng. As today our last topic and reflection. "Which mock teaching I feel is the best? Honestly, everyone have did the best and it was our first mock teaching. Sometimes mistakes do happen but that is the way we can practice and make it perfect for our future mock teaching. From all the mock teaching I find that Yau's mock teaching was good. And it was her last mock teaching and the activity she uses was good. Yau use poerpoint to teach us and she explain it well for topic continuous tense and than she gave us activity on jigsaw. It is not easy to complete jigsaw activity within 30 minutes but she managed to do it. Really proud of her. I have learn that be confident, when we are confident we can managed and complete everything even which is impossible. And then she gave some handout to do when we go back home.Even she have few more minutes she uses it to show is videos which relate with her topic of teaching. So, I think that Yau's mock teaching was the best.

        It was a great time, seeing all my classmates done with their mock teaching and seeing their long smile on their face. Everyone did great the great job and pass with flying colors. I will just wish all my classmates do well for there examination which will be around the corner next month. Good luck girls and boys.

My Eight Reflection

Hello everyone !



           This have been my eight reflection blog. Today I am going to share my learning experiences in preparing for mock teaching. Preparing mock teaching is really not easy at all because I need to make my lesson plan on which topic I am going to teach to my classmates. Besides preparing 3 lesson plan, 3 teaching approach, timeline, powerpoints and handouts for students is not easy with short time of period even there are other assignment which is still pending yet. But I manage to do it and send my assignment 2 even it was abit late. For my mock teaching I felt so nervous because for the first time I am teaching.

          My topic of choice that I choose was Idiom Expression. Before I presented for my mock teaching I was training myself for few days with all the Idiom Expression with the meaning. As a teacher before I teach my students I have to know what is idiom expression and being prepare with so that I can answer my students questions. But it was a really good experience I had. I manage to answer my friends question and try my best to make the class fun. I did Mime and Gesture activity with students and it went well. But I was abit nervous about the timing and whether i can complete my activity with my students. I  took extra 5 minutes and which I must not do. As a teacher I need to follow the right timing so that I can achieve my lesson plan. Next time, If i have this chance to do mock teaching I will prepare myself more better because I already know how is mock teaching like. I really had a good experience with mock teaching and I will never regret it at all.

My Seven Reflection

Hello Everyone !


I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekends. As  for this time, we did something different in the classroom. Madam told us to go through on few article and explain whether beating students who come late to school and breaking school rules is a good method? For me, I find that beating students is not a proper way to discipline students to be good, As a teacher, he or she shall sit and counsel the student who always come late to school or who is having problem. By doing this, students will tend out their problem and teachers can give an advice so that the student can change and improve on his behavior. 



           If I were the classroom teacher, how many rules I am going to enforce? I have to list and explain the purpose of the enforced rule to students. Firstly, is implementing demerit points. When students can not complete their homework they will be given demerit point so that they will be aware and complete their homework before entering the class. Besides that, students have to stay focus in class while teacher is teaching. And they have to respect when teacher is talking. This is important so that students pay attention in classroom and never get distracted by their friends. This is just few rules that I will implement first in the classroom.

My Six Reflection

What I have discovered ?

Hello everyone, once again ! Thank you for taking your time going through my Blog. As Madam told us to go through on a article on "Navigating The Bump Road To Student-Centered Instruction". But most of us haven't read that article on that day so Madam gave us for 45 Minutes to read on that article and then we need to find points on " Why student think student- centered instruction will not work for them" and "Why teacher implement student-centered instruction". After going through the article I have list down what i have understand about student-centered instruction. Student-centered instruction is a learning that are known as learner-centered and it is more focus to students by teachers. The article help me to understand the article better in getting more information.





              After completing reading the article and getting some information on the question. Madam told us to list down 5 points on why students think this method will not work for them and why teachers implement this method in classroom. And we need to post it in Uniec as well. In my point of view, this method will not work because students need teachers "to spoon feed them". Students depend on teacher a lot and they need teacher to guide them in everything even to solve the problem. And this is some of the reason why student find that student-centered will not work out. However, teachers will still want to implement this method in the classroom because teachers want students to be more critical thinking in solving problem and being more independent. They want to create a quality student by using this method. This is what I discovered in the classroom.

My Fifth Reflection

What I have discovered?

Hello everyone ! Nice to meet you again. Okay this time our reflection blog is what I have discovered in classroom today. As this week, we were asked to make handouts with the original handouts that were given by our lecture to us. The handout that was given are English, Economic and Maths subject. We were ask to redesign it back because there were some technical error and some mistakes on the handouts. As a teacher we need to prepare a good handouts for students without having mistakes and error. So, during class we were divided to few groups with just 2 or 3 members. In my group Hema and myself only. So, we was given some time to correct our handout in the classroom and later we have to discuss and show it in front of our classmates and our Madam.







                After correcting some error in the handout  we list it down so that it will be easy to explain later. We have to takes pictures of the handouts and post it in whatsapp. Then madam will put and show it using projector to all the classmates. I have discovered a lot of new information and fact from my friends when they share what they think about the handouts. As we going through  it, we find some mistakes on the handout such as numbering, not enough spacing, not so much example for maths question and more. It actually help me to learn on how to do a good handout and making my students to understand better.




               On the same week itself, I have discovered on how to do a proper powerpoint slides for my students. Madam Ng was teaching us doing the right powerpoint and this can help us when we going to do our practical once we completed our degree. She told us to use less images or cartoon in the slides and it have to be plan and formal. The content in it is the most important things because it will help students to understand better comparing putting images which is not related to the topic that we going to teach. We need to consider the right font, size font, background color of the slides and the right pictures for the slides. And this will help me to make my other powerpoints better and clear with point that can be understood by the student clearly.

My fourth Reflection

Hello everyone again !


          Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope all of you have a wonderful day today. As today in pedagogy class I have learn to create my own games and I am really happy about. As today Madam Ng told us to divided to 5 groups with 4 person in a group. Then she ask us to choose a paper for the activity that we going to do. My group members was Premila, Ashwini, Gayathri and myself. We got a topic on Brainrush and we need to create an activity with using brainrush and then we need to present in front of the classroom and teach the students on the activity that we did. Other groups have difference topic as well which is Kahoot, Heads up and some have Brainrush as well. During the brainrush we decide to do topic on idioms expression and we create it with the idioms and the meaning. Students have to choose which idiom is correct with the right meaning. While we present it in the classroom students tend to answer well with question that we prepared.







            After presenting it Madam Ng told us to prepare a new games for students and post it in the blog. I made a game which is the brainrush online game. This online activity are more about past, present and future tense that i created. I find it interesting and I will like everyone to try it out.
